MeVid is an automated indexing service that embeds third-party video content. We respect the intellectual property rights of content creators and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Infringement Notification

If you are the rightful copyright owner and find your material embedded on our interface without your consent, you can submit a formal takedown request to dmca@mevid.me.

A legally compliant DMCA notice requires the following data points:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• The exact URL on mevid.me where the embedded iframe is located.
• Your contact details: Name, Address, Telephone Number, and Email.
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If your content was removed due to a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address containing your signature, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury regarding the mistake, and your consent to federal jurisdiction.

Policy on Repeat Offenders

MeVid will proactively sever API connections or block source URLs from third-party networks that are found to be systemic or repeat infringers of copyright law.
